Marisa has a strong history of supporting women in unmedicated births, she has a strength for advocacy within the hospital system, and is most appropriate serving families that feel drawn to natural birth. Birth doula support means you don’t have to do this alone. I’m with you before, during and just after birth to offer:
- Continuous emotional support so you feel calm, heard and cared for
- Comfort measures like breathing, position changes, massage and relaxation
- Help understanding your options so you can make informed choices
- Support in communicating your birth preferences with your care team
- Gentle guidance and reassurance for your partner so they feel confident too
My role is to support you and your family, whatever kind of birth you choose.
Postpartum support gives you a calm, caring presence as you adjust to life with your new baby. I offer in‑home visits to check in on your recovery, answer questions, support feeding (breast or bottle), and help you understand what’s normal in the early weeks. I provide emotional support as you process your birth experience. My goal is to make sure you feel cared for, confident, and never alone during this tender transition.
