Birth Celebration Ceremony : Blessing Way Ceremony

Sometimes we find that we are wanting something a bit more intimate and deeper than a traditional baby shower. Almost like a rite of passage that holds healing and blessings and acknowledgment of the women we have all once come thru. A blessing way ceremony is tender and focuses on building a village to support a woman as she births and postpartum. It pampers the mother and acknowledges the journey she is embarking on. It is women sharing wisdom, holding space  and strength for and with the mother to be. We will make a string of beads.  We will honor her and each woman will give her a blessing during the birth celebration ceremony.
